I’ve gotten most of the outside lights up, but not all. I’ve lined the porch, the front window and put up the blow-ups. It’s good enough for this year. The inside isn’t as festive as normal, but I need less clutter in my life, so it’s perfect. We have one tree up instead of two, and the Christmas nicknacks didn’t get put up this year. Our Christmas Elf, Alfred, has stayed in the same place for the past two days. He must be as tired as I am. Tuesday we had Harvey’s Kindergarten Christmas performance. It was adorable. Saturday evening I had a Christmas party with some friends and it was so nice to get out of the house and have some adult interaction. My normal walks with my friends have been put on hold due to freezing weather and rain. I spent most of Wednesday at the doctor’s office with Harvey. He has a lot of stool in his stomach, so we’re hoping his frequent stomach pains are just constipation. Miralax will be a regular routine for him until he stops complaining so much. I hope that is all it is. They referred us to a GI specialist, but with the holidays and the military referral system, who knows when that’ll be. We had one of Andy’s friends as our doctor, Dr. Freeman. It was nice to talk to him. One of his former coworkers sent me this nice little note:

It meant a lot to me to hear her say that. We all miss him.
We celebrated Beverly for her 8th birthday. I was going to say for the last time for her eighth birthday, but we still have her baptism in May! I took her and three of her girlfriends to the movies. They had a blast.
