Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas looks a little different this year, so I’m opting for a virtual Christmas message. My good friend, @secristphotoco took these darling photos for us and I’m so very grateful. This year has been full of highs and lows… a bit of emotional whiplash from the army, days spent in the hospital getting Bev healed from a horrible burn, which looks like a bad tan line now— truly miraculous, a few tears, and lots of laughs. We miss Andy and can’t say we’ll be sad to leave active duty this next year. We’re blessed to be able to stay where we’re at after Andy’s deployment! Despite the challenges this year, we have been blessed with amazing friends, steady work, and the comfort of the gospel to lay our heads on when the load we’re bearing feels too heavy. The kids are still thriving, despite being sad once in a while. I’m busy keeping them all alive, happy, and keeping the house in somewhat order. I’ve also been dabbling in my art, though not as much as I’d like, working on my novel which is coming along, and enjoying my friends. I currently serve as the primary singing time leader and absolutely love it. Maverick still loves baseball, playing with friends, and making people laugh. Max has quit football (with no pushback from a worried mom) and instead works on computer programming, robotics, and models. Beverly is still doing dance (though not as many classes this year), made a “cheer club” with her friends at school, and keeps me on my toes. Harvey loathes school in the mornings, but always seems happy when I pick him up. He’s obsessed with numbers and is doing pretty good with learning all his letters and sounds, he’s still very much the baby of the family and I’m not sad about it. We’re so very grateful for all of you and the role you’ve played in our lives this year. Thank you for lifting us up in each of your own ways. Love you!
